He is, however, blissfully unaware of the manipulation and backstabbing within the Camarilla and despite having to deal with Tremere finds the organization to be the last chance of hope for his people. History:
There were three individuals in question that were needed to create Brahn. The first was a Tzimisce lord by the name of Vereska Korscech. The second was a Gangrel who simply called himself the Snow Wolf. The third was a Tremere called Regent Adan.
The year was 1468 and Regent Adan was charged with creating gargoyles to guard his Chantry in Prague during the renaissance. The first step was to find suitable components for the Gargoyle. The first one was found, the leader of a pack of Gangrel roaming around outside the city. Snow Wolf, so called because his wolf transformation had snow-white fur, was a fiercely feared member of the Gangrel.
One night while prowling outside the city for his prey, he and his pack were ambushed by a coterie of Tremere. They never had a chance. His pack was mostly slaughtered, though him and a few others were brought back for Gargoyle components. Snow Wolf resisted every step of the way and killed a few Tremere in his frenzy to escape. He was forced into Torpor until the ritual could be done.
The next was a Tzimisce who was held up in his castle miles away. Vereska would've fought life and limb to destroy the Tremere invaders, however, the Tremere snuck into his castle when he was sitting down at a feast with a number of Tzimisce guests. The Tremere would sneak up through an old waterway gate under his castle which he left loosely guarded in his arrogance. Caught by surprise the Tremere massacred the lot and put the rest into torpor to act as the ingredients.
Once the two components had been found they were forged into the Gargoyle that would come to be known as Brahn Vehss. A blank slate loyal only to Regent Adan and leader of a coterie of four other Gargoyles created from the other captured Gangrel and Tzimisce. This Coterie was to protect the Tremere's Chantry. For two hundred years Brahn protected the chantry without question as did his brothers. He did so because he had been ordered not to question it. However, one night, an allied assault on the Chantry by both Tzimisce and Gangrel weakened the Regent Adan's hold on the Gargoyles and thus for the first time Brahn had a thought that was entirely his own. He had been able to think before, and he had been able to learn, but everything dangerous was kept from his mind by the control of the Regent. The thought he had this night was "Why must I serve?". The night was victorious for the Tremere who had captured a few of the attackers and massacred the rest. Two of Brahn's gargoyle brethren had been killed, but the next night two more Gargoyles stepped up to take their place, and most peculiarly the prisoners were gone.
Brahn, however, did not question his brothers and the prisoners. Instead he questioned his keepers. He made his way to Regent Adan and like a child asking his father a question of life, he asked Adan. "Why do we serve?" He meant nothing by it. He had no thoughts of rebellion, no dreams of escaping. He simply wanted to know. Adan responded by binding the Gargoyle and telling him he was defective, broken, for having such thoughts. What Adan had not counted on was that Brahn had become more powerful than anyone could have guessed. He escaped the chains with little effort and attacked Adan.
Adan did not survive. Before he could get off any spells his creation had him in his maws. Brahn tried to diablerize his creator, but he failed. What he did manage to do, however, was break the bond between him and Adan. When Adan died, Brahn felt not the slightest discomfort. When the rest of the Chantry came after the Gargoyle, he sank into the floor and was never seen again in Prague.
