History:

Born in the late 14th century to a big and influential family of chivaliers at the height of the Hundred year's war. Marius was born into nobility and educated as such, his family instilled the hatred for the english invaders, and from a young age he was taken under his uncle wing as a squire. Where Marius was thought the principles of war, honor and chivalry.

By his eleventh birthday saw his first battle as the British peformed a series of Chevauchée on the French, Marius saw his uncle died as he tried to raly his men in the defense of the town. The french forces bearly managed to survive in that town and where force to retreat, this fueled the young Marius hatred for the english.

Marius was left in the care of a family friend, a diplomat who was pro-peace much to the young squire disdain. Marius for four years studied diplomacy, trading, how to read and write, the basics of politics and the refine ways of royalties. During this time Marius became a close friend of Louis of Orléans.

Marius when he turned sixteen begged his father to finish his education into politics and make him a warrior. His Father obliged and took him as a squire and thought him more of art of warfare and how to wield a blade, Marius took each and every lesson his father gave him to the heart, becoming a prime example of what a knight should strive to be.
