Appearance:

Proud and confident, Anya wears her honey blonde hair long and straight. She rarely ever puts it up. At work it is strictly down and simple. On weekends she may accessorize with a hair clip or a flower or some such thing. Only at formal events will she ever wear her hair up. And she will always get it done professionally so that it looks as elegant as possible. When Anya does something, she makes sure it is done in the best way.

Anya has bright eyes flecked with deep blue and silver gray. Depending on her makeup and clothing options, either one of those colors may be dominant. Due to her tendency to dress in dark colors, it is usually the blue that stands out. Her skin is fair, though it may get tanned in the summer. Anya usually prefers to avoid the sun because it is bad for the skin. In this way, she tends to be more practical than vain.

Standing at five feet and nine inches, Anya weighs an even 130 pounds. She has a feminine, curved body and she works out regularly to stay in shape. Anya wakes up at five in the morning every day except Saturday to go for a walk. She also frequents the gym. Anya eats healthy and can be very picky about what she puts in her body. She is determined to remain youthful and to live a long life.

Looking at a picture of Anya and actually standing in her presence are two completely different things. In pictures, one can see her confidence, but they do not truly feel her presence. Anya is quite a powerful person to be around. She is quick and smart and does not take no for an answer. This shows clearly in the way she walks and the way she stands. Very few people get to see the softer side of her.

Fashion Sense/Style:

At work: Dark, sleek, and feminine. Anya dresses professionally, but does not wear slacks or any kind of masculine clothing. She is proud of being a female in the work force and shows this by dressing like one. Black jacket, black skirt that is usually around knee length or slightly shorter, and some sort of blouse. Usually white, but sometimes she go with burgundy, violet, teal, or another color.

Casual: Surprisingly, Anya goes for comfort. Sweats and a t-shirt are perfect for lazing around the house. When out and about, she’ll slip into something stylish but simple. Like a dress. She tends to wear softer colors on her own time because she has less of an image to keep up. She likes heels, but will wear tennis shoes and sandals when comfort and style are able to mesh.

Formal: This is the only time you will see Anya with her hair up. She tends to wear black because she thinks it is elegant and mature. Bright colors remind her too much of a high school prom. Of course, she does not consider this to be a hard and fast rule. There are times when other colored dresses will catch her fancy. Her only real rule is find that dress that will look the best.

Other: Anya prefers silver jewelry to any other. Mostly, she doesn’t wear any at all. She thinks jewelry is kind of gaudy and really only appropriate with formal wear. She loved diamonds, however. They are a weakness of hers. She normally wears her makeup dark around the eyes, but will lighten it up in favor of a more natural look when her style calls for it. Depending on her makeup and current style, she can look anywhere between fifteen and thirty.

Dynamic: Anya is powerful, motivated, and energetic. She is constantly in motion and constantly climbing. She surrounds herself with optimism combined with a strong confidence and sense of self. She can be forceful at times, but is always quick to understand the views of others and is therefore a keen manipulator. Anya makes sure to keep her horizons broad, for knowledge and experience breeds power.

Greedy: Breeding has kept her spoiled. Anya comes from a very well off family. As a child, she attended the best schools and ate the best food. She had the best that money could buy. In adulthood, very little has changed. Anya demands the best from the world, just like she demands the best of herself. She likes having money to spend and she likes having money spent on her.

Proud: Beautiful, intelligent, and very well off, Anya believes she has it all. She is very proud of who she is. And why shouldn’t she be? The woman worked hard to get where she was. Anya never suffered from self-esteem issues. She prevented them all by making sure she took care of herself. Is it her fault that others are too lazy to work for what they want?

Stylish: Clothes are sort of a weak spot for her. She likes to get new ones. She likes to read style magazines and analyze new fashions. One could call it an expensive hobby. She likes to dress up and she likes to look good. In her world, appearances mean quite a lot. It is important for her to look sharp and professional but still pretty and feminine. In Anya’s world, fashion has become an interesting political game.

March 22 1987 – Visanya Antic was born

There was really nothing special about her birth. A man (Edric Antic) and a woman (Ilta Annika Antic) were not in love, but they had an okay marriage. Visanya’s birth was carefully planned to land during the very end of March where her arrival would not get in the way of anything important. Edric and Ilta were both entirely displeased when Anya arrived a week early.

That was the last time Anya would ever be late for anything so long as she or Ilta had anything to do with it. Anya even started school a full year early. She took ballet and never missed a single practice, not even when she was sick. Her mother and father pushed her hard. Too hard, some would say. But they always came to see her win her awards and they always came to watch her ballet recitals.

In middle school, Anya began to rebel a little. She wanted to be independent and do her own thing. She wanted to be in charge, just like her daddy. So she quit ballet and took up soccer instead. Anya did well in soccer despite her feminine nature. She was competitive enough to keep her focus without hesitation. By the end of the game, she made quite a sight. The makeup she would cake onto her face before the game would be trickling down her face.

High school made her into a daddy’s girl. She excelled in her classes and had a particular love for anything business related. She continued playing soccer but also managed to get back into ballet. Visanya was bright and eager. She made friends easily, though she did not hang out a lot. Her life gave her very little time to be around her peers. Most of her free time was spent around adults; guests of her parents.

June 21 2003 – Anya gets a car

It was three months after her sixteenth birthday. Edric said she had to show proper control by driving their silver Volvo before she could have a car of her own. After three months of responsible driving, she finally got it! A silver Jaguar with a license plate that read ANYALUV. She christened her beloved car ‘Jeeves’ and took very good care of him. She still has him to this day.

At this point in her life, Anya was being groomed for business. She talked to her dad about his work all the time. She did not want to be a stay at home mother like her mom was. Apparently, Ilta was once a business tycoon as well, but she gave it all up for the joys of motherhood. That made Anya feel strange. Especially because she mostly took care of herself now. There was nothing preventing her mom from going back to work.

She became class president of her private school and joined the debate team. With school, ballet, and soccer Anya just about died trying to balance everything. She was a classic overachiever with no time for friends or partying. People liked her, but they never got a chance to know her. She never dated. She never called up her friends just to talk. And she did not have time to be lonely.

Anya learned to be satisfied with this kind of life. She always needs something to do and something to work on. She does not know how to handle free time. Anya was a workaholic before she ever entered the work force! When it comes to meaningful relationships, Anya can be very naïve and will be easily confused. She understands manipulation and power. She understands being alone.

April 27 2005 – Anya starts working for Hartford Trading

One month after her eighteenth birthday, Anya lands a job working for Hartford. As a receptionist. After spending the last two years working for her father, she wanted a chance to work outside of the family business in order to prove her true worth. Being a receptionist was easy. Too easy. All she had to do was handle the phone and be organized. It was actually a little boring…

With life being slow, Anya got back into extracurricular activities. She began going to the gym and got into martial arts, mainly Aikido and Brazilian Jujitsu. At the gym, she would take kickboxing and zumba. She was so busy, she hardly noticed her promotion. That was the beginning in a long line of promotions. Anya always showed herself to be eager, capable, and responsible.

She also has a mind for business and is able to handle managing other people. She has a drive and fire combined with feminine charm that makes others want to listen to her demands. She inspires hard work by being an example of it herself and by rewarding those that work for her. Anya is fair, but stern. She will not be pushed around, but she will repay those who do well.

Anya sees the corporate world as a giant game of chess, and she is a queen. She can go in any direction and is the most powerful piece on the board. Nothing will stop her. Nothing will get in her way. She will rise to the top. Anya continued to get raises and promotions in the five years that she worked for Hartford. No longer a mere receptionist, she now holds a management position and has an office of her own.

April 8th 2010 – Anya’s most recent promotion

Another promotion and Anya is on fire more than ever. Five years working for the same company and she still has all the same passion and eagerness as she did in the beginning. She really is a business woman now, just like her father! Just like her mother was once upon a time. One could even say it runs in her blood. This promotion puts her one step closer to the top of the ladder.

Not that Anya truly wants to reach the top. Oddly enough, she has never thought of herself as a CEO. Rather, she’d prefer to be one step under. Because it is the second in command who is in charge of the chaos. Organizing, planning, making sure everything runs smoothly and on time. All that while balancing politics. It is a rush for Anya, an intense and powerful game where you always have to be one step ahead.

Only 23 years old, Anya still has quite a ways to go. But the distance she covered in five years is impressive. Anya has won awards and prestige among her coworkers. She is respected. With an acute abhorrence towards sexism, Anya will politically crush those male opponents who try to knock her down. If anyone believes women don’t belong in the business world, then they have another thing coming!

Can she relax yet? No way. But that doesn’t mean life is all work an no play. There are plenty of things Anya loved to do for fun. Her dad had a stroke a few months ago and passed away. That, more than anything, made her realize the dangers of stress. Anya will stop to smell the roses. She is human being, even if she seems unable to truly connect with others. Life is more than fire and zeal.
