DISLIKES: dancing, anything that requires coordination, arrogance (although she is secretly attracted to arrogant guys), nighttime
PHOBIAS: Mina has an awful fear of the dark and has trouble going out at night. She is also afraid of medical needles; every time she gets one, she can imagine the thing ripping through her veins.
PET PEEVES: She's a little OCD about things like something unerased on the chalkboard. She also hates when people talk to her like they're smarter. Equal footing is always best.
Hunter?: No.
Mage?: No.
Powers: Endowments: Foci: Appearance:
Mina has brown hair that she usually wears down coupled with a moderate complexion- not tan, not pale. She has blindingly bright eyes that, given the day, can appear more blue or more gray. She has youthful features and looks almost more like a teenager than a young woman if you look at just her face. She has wide lips and a button nose that has, from time to time, been called 'cute'. She is neither particularly tall nor particularly short, standing at 5'4". She has a slim, boyish build with just enough curve to indicate that she is, in fact, a female.Fashion Sense/Style:
Mina is prone to darker clothings, though not to the point that she would be considered goth. She prefers a classy style, like tailored blazers, skinny jeans, pretty patent leather pumps, the likes. She has a penchant for fedoras, but doesn't wear them in public, as her sister, when she was younger, called them fedorkas.Personality:
Mina is a clever girl who rarely seems to take anything seriously. If you say something, she will more than likely have a quick comeback. She likes to push people's buttons, likes to tease and, on the whole, is particularly irreverent. What most people don't realize is that, despite her bubbly demeanor, Mina has a bit of a temper boiling just below the surface. When it finally erupts, few people realize, because she fools around so much, it's difficult to take Mina seriously. People also don't seem to realize that Mina is actually an intelligent girl. A hopeless romantic, Mina is waiting for the person who will sweep her off her feet. The problem is that she is incredibly picky. While she has been asked out a couple of times in the past, she has always declined. She has an ideal that may be beyond the reach of anybody. She has almost resigned herself to the fact that she might become the crazy old cat lady. A consummate flirt, if you are a male, chances are she will tease you mercilessly, play games with you, and then leave you high and dry. She doesn't even realize that she is doing it most of the time.Physical-Strength: 3

History:
Mina was born in Columbus Ohio, the first child of Jonathan and Alicia Drake. When she was three, her first sibling was born, a sister. When she was four, the second was born, a brother. When she was six, her youngest brother was born, rounding out the family. Being the only child for three years, she wasn't particularly fond of her siblings at first. She often screamed at them to make them jump when her mother wasn't looking. While she grew to love them, she was never particularly close to the other three, given the fact that they were each less than two years apart and she was three years apart from the one closest to her age.
A natural performer, Mina took up piano and voice when she was five years old. While she proclaimed that voice was her strongest suite, most who listened to her play would agree that she was far more talented on the piano. She did well in school by virtue of the fact that she was very good at processing information. She didn't study very much unless she thought her grade might be at risk. Through high school, she was a part of the show choir and, very occasionally, was able to nab the solo roll. Since it was a small school, her senior year, she nabbed the part of Sandy in Grease. That was what finally convinced her to go into music. She was originally going to major in voice but, at her mother's prodding, she decided to dual major in piano and voice.
College was rough for Mina. She was running for the track team at her school on top of practicing her singing and her piano. Her grades fell a little bit from high school, but she didn't particularly care. While in college, her love of piano grew, and she decided that while she would pursue a career in voice, she would never stop playing piano. When she graduated, Mina immediately took off for New York hoping to audition for Broadway. To her surprise and dismay, she didn't even make it into the chorus. Not one to give up so easily, she continually auditioned, while she made money to live by playing and teaching piano. While she'll still occasionally go to try out for a play, her heart has started to lean towards piano. Who knows, maybe she'll just stick with it instead of continually trying to do sing on Broadway. She has convinced herself it wouldn't be giving up on a dream; it would be starting on a new one.
