Appearance: Dominico stands at 6'1" and weighing in at 180 pounds with a slender yet muscular figure . He has got short to medium length, wavy dark brown hair, and matching brown eyes. He has a silver stud in his left ear and a tattoo on his right arm of a skeletal scorpion. Despite his rough disposition, Dominico has very smooth facial features and is considered " quite easy on the eyes".
Dominico has got a burn mark covering a good bit of his forearm that never fully healed due to his first encounter with the sun after his embrace. His left eye has also been removed and replaced with that of a corpse's eye for ritualistic purposes. His "dead" eye allows him to have shroudsight on or off at will. Because of the whole " dead" eye thing, Dominico always wears a pair of prescription sunglasses of some sort.
Fashion Sense/style: Dominico, like the rest of his family, always dresses very dignified and classy. He usually wears all black business attire, all italian made. During festive occasions, Dom usually wears a black pinstriped zoot suit, a blood red dress shirt, and a black tie. No matter what the occasion though, Dom ALWAYS wears a pair of dark prescription sunglasses.
Personality: Dominico has always and will always be dedicated to his family. He is a very good businessman like his cousins, uncles, aunts, etc, and he has proven himself time and time again in a fight and is also an accomplished necromancer. Dominico is very merciless with his business deals and there have been in the past, very bad consequences for those who try to screw him over. He is somewhat of an idealist, which despite his dedication, is looked down upon by the rest of his family.
He's always been thinking of new and different ideas and possible changes in anything from the proper method of taming wraiths to how the annual embracing should go. That last one in particular has gotten him into a large deal of trouble on more than one occasion.
Dominico is and always has been somewhat merciless in combat, maintaining a cold and collected aura as he destroys his opponents' minds and then crushing their bodies. He has learned to behave this way to deal with the non stop death that is ever present in his line of "work". In addition to his fine combat abilities, Dom is also a very talented linguist, knowing a remarkable number of languages, most of which are due to the constant travelling that happened while under Diego's care, he is fluent in Italian, Latin, Russian, African, Spanish, French, Hungarian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, German, Arabic, Bulgarian, Lithuanian, Greek, and English. Despite knowing a very large amount of languages, Dom still maintains a noticable italian accent when speaking english.
History: Dominico was born and raised in Venice, much like the rest of his family. He had always looked forward to the annual Giovanni family reunion and his favorite uncle was always Diego Giovanni, a terrifyingly awesome figure that was something of an idol to young Dominico. Dom had never really gotten along with the majority of his cousins because they were all vying for the praise and attention of the older family members.
By the time Dominico graduated from high school, he was ranked number 2 in his class with top marks. Dominico had always been sort of odd regarding his like of the supernatural and when the time came for him to be told the family secret, Dominico took it in stride, finally figuring out why uncle Diego always looked so young. Dominico, being Diego's favorite amongst the newly ghouled family members, decided to train him personally in the art of necromancy, preforming the coveted Proxy Kiss on him and keeping him as his personal ghoul for almost eight years. It turned out that Dominico had a knack for the dark art and flourished. During his eight years as a ghoul, Dom trained heavily in hand to hand combat as well as the art of manipulation to better protect his master Diego along with keeping up in his necromantic studies, eventually looking into several branches of the art all while traveling the world.
When the time came for the ghouls to become embraced, Diego himself embraced Dominico, a great honor of limitless prestige and quickly advanced his necromantic knowledge and made him his bodyguard of sorts, not that he really needed it but more as extra help if things got iffy. Dominico was ecstatic at this very fortunate outcome but was still used to being able to tread in the daylight and got his first taste of his new bittersweet existence as a kindred.
During the Maelstrom of '99, Diego and Dominico were called back to Venice after traveling to multiple countries to help protect the Mausoleum of the Giovanni from the onslaught of the once captive and now very angry ghosts and specters. Dominico actually got to witness the clan's Antedelluvian, Augustus Giovanni, protect the Mausoleum. It was both the worst and the best day of Dominico's unlife. Many Giovanni died in the whole ordeal and Augustus himself went to unknown places. One month later, Dom got a call from Diego, telling him to head to America to oversee the productivity of the Milliner family and the rest of the family. With orders from the top, Dom has now made his way into New York and has begun slowly taking over the corporate world right from under the noses of the Camerilla and the Sabbat.
