So, this place looks cool. I noticed some chit-chat about this site on SWURP so I decided to check it out. I've never played a World of Darkness RP before, but I did check out the Wiki for it a while back when some friends of mine were talking about getting together to play it. Didn't happen. Long story. Nonetheless, I still think vampires are definitely on the side of interesting (despite the fact that recent movies featuring them have sucked lemons) and I'd like to try my hand at roleplaying one. Or two. We'll see what time allows. (And no, "lemons" was not a euphemism for something else. I swear.)

I've done some roleplaying in many different genres, and in the past I even tried my hand at running my own proboards roleplaying forum. I've decided I'd rather enjoy the fruits of others' labor. And sometimes help out. Maybe. If I'm feeling generous. (No no, don't give me that look. Was only a joke.)

I also recently RP'd on a zombie/survival site, but unfortunately that was a shortlived experience, as apparently the server it was on crashed. But yeah - vampires, werewolves, zombies - they all get a thumbs up in my book, as long as they're done right.

welcome i, personally have always loved the world of darkness franchise, i first became enthralled by it when "Vampire: The Requiem" came out on the pc many years ago. Please do ecuse the rather empty forum for the moment, still working behind the scenes and what not, was only made recently

in the meanwhile, look up the rules, clans and other information and start writing a decent bio

Indeed, I remember seeing some screenshots and whatnot from VtR. I would've tried it out for myself, but I believe I was lacking the extra funds needed to do so, if you know what I mean.

On the subject of creating characters, I have a few rough sketches in my mind's eye, but the more I read about the mechanics of VtM the more complicated it seems to get. Lots of strange terms, especially for the Garou/Fera/Shapeshifters.

And no worries about the site, actually I think it's progressing rather well. It seems most of the database is already completed.
