Cold, near unfeeling personalityMisc.:
Cassidy always lets off an inhuman feeling to everything around him, but animals.Appearance:
Although changing, His preferred appearance for social outings includes a well defined and bald head, blue with a hint of crimson eyes, and a near shine like porcine skin. He likes to stay between 5 foot 5 and 6 feet tall, with rather smooth features.Fashion Sense/Style:
His Horror form, on the other hand, he takes as a piece of art. His arms and legs elongate themselves, bringing even the fingers and toes out to a sharp point. Along the spine lay 3 rows of spikes, the middle row exactly 6 inches long, with all the rest 3. To add the last taste to the look, his eyes become a pure crimson, almost glowing, and his teeth sharpen to the likeness of the vampire fangs that he has at his normal form.
Darker clothes, almost always a high quality suit of some kind.Personality:
ColdPhysical-Strength: 12
To Cassidy, emotions are rarely needed and can get in the way of real work. Anything requiring are most likely unnecessary, even though he may take note of others emotions, to help get a better understanding at the differences between humans and vampires. At times, he may even find it in his best interest to see what emotions he can get out of those around him. Of course, he will only do this at no risk to himself.
Polite
In most situations, Cassidy prefers to keep things somewhat cordial. If the other person feels comfy then he knows that he is not in harm’s way. This is multiplied to any guests to his home, that he would almost wait on hand and foot. To those that invade his home though, the most they could hope for is death in the process…
Determined
At times, Cassidy can seem like a freight train when he wants. When he knows that what he wants is close, it can seem as though only Caine himself could stop him. Lying, stealing, killing, these are just words to the demon that has found his prize.

History:
Life
Cassidy Evander was born to a noble family in London, England, in1824. They were rich enough that he could have almost anything that he wanted at his fingertips. So, he had the cushy life that you would expect any decently young child to have, but he had more. He was shown to have remarkable intelligence at a young, and so was given some of the finest London Tutors to nourish his gifts. By the age of 15, he made it out of regular schooling and was excepted into
Oxford.
At 16, while still at university, Cassidy’s parents went ill of a mysterious disease, leaving Cassidy as the last member of his family and the heir to their fortune. Even with his news, he continued learning at university while renting out his family’s estate. Do this, he was able to proudly graduate from Oxford at 19. With the Death of his parents years earlier, and his head having stayed in his studies, he lost his connection to the world, and wanted a fresh start. So, he sold the family estate and most of his possessions, and left for America at the earliest convenience.
The Embrace
Shortly after arriving in America, Cassidy felt the drive to head west, to leave New York and make a life for himself. These ideas were stopped in its tracks shortly after leaving the city, as he was kidnapped in the night. Knocked out, Cassidy woke up in a pine box, six feet under the ground. In sheer panic, he began to claw his way to the coffin, and through the earth itself, thinking he was still alive. When he made it to the surface, he was greeted by a man that he had never seen before. ‘Welcome to Unlife.’ The first words that Cassidy heard as a Kindred, from the man he learned to be his sire.
Understanding
1844 to 1849, a time for understanding just what he has and what he had lost. Cassidy’s sire was smart enough to tell him the basics, and make sure he had his disciplines in check, but beyond that, Cassidy was on his own. Most of what he learned was from local Sabbat, and even though his sire forbade him to partake in their rituals, he was considered one of them. Through them, he learned his physical limits, how well Kindred heal, and how much of a monster he was.
The Numbing
1849 to 1889, the numbing of Cassidy Evander began the minute his sire let him into true studies of the vampiric condition. He soon witnessed his clans true abilities, unlocking a world of questions that his sire was will to let him help answer. As Cassidy was allowed to fumble over the remains of his sires work, he grew colder. His unlife became consumed by the pursuit of just what was behind the veil that created the vampires, and how they differ from their original state of humanity. In the forty years of surgically examining and sorting through his sires, he got nowhere in answering his questions. It would be in his last emotional act that he would gain an answer, and the freedom of study, that he longed for.
Freedom
It was at dusk, November of 1890, that the fledgling Kindred Cassidy Evander awoke early, and staked the man that brought him into the world of darkness. Most of that night was spent dissecting his undead body, looking for answers to the vampiric condition. When this held no fruit, he made a controlled hole in the roof of the place, and as the sun made it’s what back into the sky, witnessed his first insight. The ashes of his sire showed to him how nothing is truly immortal.
Doctor Evander
1890 to 1910, Cassidy learned much about medicine. To him, it was all in the pursuit of knowing more about what Kindred had lost for the illusion of immortality. He learned how the human body could be kept alive further then it should, and tried to learn more. After a few years of free medical care in some of the lesser parts of New York, he was starting to draw attention to himself. Knowing that could be hazardous, he quickly made mistakes, to make sure he would be hated then disliked. By ruining his own career, he was able to slip back into the
shadows.
Father Evander
1910 to 1950, Cassidy finally touched some of his fortune to build a church in Queens, New York. It quickly became a haven for some of the younger Sabbat, not to mention becoming the personal haven of Cassidy himself. He quickly took up the title of priest, having some sway in the Sabbat, and becoming an ear for the kine of the area. He used it to learn of what humans feared and disliked. Gaining some insight on just how humans thought and what drove them to religion, he preached to them of hell and the terrors that could befall them, and showed a few these secrets to witness to others.
Of course, with this near open display, all good things have to come to an end. Some humans turned hunters studied Cassidy’s lair, and made a full on assault on the place. Spreading fire through the building, they believed that they had killed all of the vampires, and that there job was finished. Luckily, they didn’t know about the catacombs that Cassidy had made under the church as his private abode, which spared only him from the fires above. He learned to keep more to himself, hidden from Humanity unless he needed something. He also took the opportunity to change his identity,
and leave the Sabbat safely.
Lennox Ranald and the Ghost of Queens
1950 to Present. Paying the proper contacts, Cassidy had his old life erased, and was reborn Lennox Ranald. Since the building remained standing, and hidden from the sun (for the most part), he kept his haven, and took any human that happen to wander in for experiments. After ten or so years of these disappearances in Queens, the building was deemed haunted by locals. Whenever someone thought to just get rid of the building, or to buy for reuse, the deed seemed to disappear, or they did.
Over the years, as it got into more modern times, the church remained the same, and Cassidy had made almost no progress in his quest for knowledge. So, he began to roam the streets again, trying to look through the more social aspect of the world of darkness for the answers he seeks…
