Amar doesn't care for what happens in the vampire world much, since he is a young vampire. He sees the fighting between the vampires the same as the various wars that he has fought in, and he believes that all the fighting won't solve anything. The only time he really does care is when a vampire needs the service of an assassin.

Merits:
Daredevil: Amar is a thrill seeker, and as such he loves to take risks and have fun. This is why he loves to party so much, and why he is able to do his job as a soldier in the various wars and as an assassin so well.

Iron Will: Amar's will to stop fighting in the Indo-Pakistan War was so strong that he was able to resist the Pakistani government and their army, and he was able to flee to America. After being victorious in this trial, Amar is very confident in himself and isn't easily controlled by others.

Flaws:
Mistreated Minority: With all the terrorist activity going on in New York City, Amar being Pakistani greets him with scowls and such from strangers.

Outsider: Because Amar left Pakistan long ago to opt out of fighting any more wars, he is seen as an outsider by the Assamites in Pakistan.

Appearance:

Amar is originally from Pakistan, although his skin is a little light for someone from Pakistan. He has short black hair with brown eyes. He looks very much in-shape, which Amar claims is due to him working out all the time. He weighs 165 pounds and is 6'0.

Fashion Sense/Style:

Amar dresses like a typical college student, trying to blend in as best he can. On normal days he wears jeans and hoodies with tennis shoes, and maybe a beanie if it's cold, and an expensive-looking silver watch on his left wrist. On hot days he'll wear cargo shorts and a t-shirt with sandals. He also wears old spice deodorant, in keeping with the college kids' attire, and he keeps a short layer of stubble on his face. The thing that stands out the most about his fashion sense is that he has about a pair of shoes for almost every color that exists.

For parties that he regularly attends on his old college campus, he dresses up a bit more. He says that he enjoys wearing buttoned shirts with ties to parties, even though they are by no means formal settings. He also makes sure he is clean shaven for these events. Often at these parties he is able to seduce a woman into wanting to fool around a little, during which time Amar is able to feed. This is why he goes through the extra effort of looking so sharp at parties; the ladies love it, and he gets to eat.

Personality:

Amar is fairly laid back to others and doesn't seem to have many worries. Because he is a rather young vampire, he isn't concerned too much about what happens in the vampire world. Recently he has disguised himself as a college student, and as such he attends many parties. When he is taking a job, however, he becomes quite serious. He understands that business is business, and being an assassin, he knows when to be quiet and composed.

Amar is a daredevil and loves taking risks. He's played many games of poker with his friends, and Amar almost always wins. When he gets bored, he'll set up physical challenges for himself around the city at night, for example, one day he tried seeing if he could jump from the top of his dorm across buildings to the other side of campus. And since it would be 4 am, more than likely no one would see him, but Amar secretly hoped someone would; it added to the rush he would feel.

Another large risk he takes is that he keeps all of his assassin tools in his dorm room, even though he has a human roommate who lives in the same room. Amar uses his obsfucate skill to hide these, of course, but nevertheless it is quite risky.

Another trait about Amar is that he is a ladies man. Amar is a master of the pickup line, and as well as being dressed for success, he is very good at seducing women at many of the college parties. This is the primary method of his to feed. He doesn't kill his victims, of course; they think it's just foreplay, and they're usually too drunk to feel just how hard he nibbles on their necks.

History:

Amar the War Hero

Amar was born in the year 1896 in what would become Pakistan later, but at the time was a part of India. He lived there rather peacefully for a number of years before he turned 18 years old. In 1914, World War 1 had begun, and as India was a colony of the United Kingdom, Indian troops were dispatched to take part in the war. Amar fought bravely against the central powers for all 4 years of the war. He fought bravely against the Germans in the first years of the war in the trench warfare in France. He was there with British forces when they pushed back into Germany, starting at the Battle of Arras, going into the Messines ridge, getting to ride in a tank during the Battle of Cambrai, and finally being able to put down his weapon on November 11, 1918, the day the armistice was signed.



After World War 1, Amar returned to India a hero. But his work was not over just yet. A mere two years later, the British had another job for the Indian Troop, and they asked Amar if he would lead join once again to defend British Colonies. Amar agreed, and he was dispatched to Iraq during the Great Iraqi Revolution of 1920. Around 6,000 Iraqis and around 500 British and Indian soldiers died in the revolt, one of them being Amar. Amar was shot during a skirmish in the chest. One of his other squad mates saw Amar fall and dragged him to cover. It was here, behind cover, bleeding to death in Iraq that Amar had his first encounter with a vampire. His squad mate told Amar that everything was going to be alright as he started the process of The Embrace. As Amar was drained of blood, he felt everything get cold, but when the process was complete, he found new unlife. The vampire who had saved his life so to speak had heard of Amar and his actions as a war hero in India, and he explained that he felt the world shouldn't lose such a brave and talented person. After the Iraqi revolt was quelled, the two never saw each other again, as they were each returned to their homes.

Amar was told before he was separated from his vampiric squad mate that he would now age much slower, and he explained all the intricacies of being a vampire. He suggested that he craft some way to leave his family soon, lest they suspect something when they find Amar not aging. So when Amar returned, he told his family that he felt he was being called by Allah to embark on a great journey. There were many injustices in the world, and he was going to travel the lands righting the wrong. So he left his family upon returning, although he did write them often.


Living in India

So Amar wandered all of India, learning about what he had now become. During his travels, he learned that he was an Assamite, and he learned all the powers that they were capable of employing. He used these powers to go from town to town and bring justice to criminals and corrupt leaders, killing them in the silence of the night. From this fact, the people gave him the name Khamoshi, Urdu for "Silence". Amar did this for a couple centuries. He soon started to realize that every person in this world has done some terrible thing, and he was one of the few who could bring people to justice. This is how he got his start as an assassin, bringing people to justice for the crimes they had committed, and everyone had committed at least one crime.

As an assassin, he came into a lot of money. He spent this money obtaining better weapons, on travel expenses, and the rest went to impoverished children he met across India. He never accepted jobs to assassinate women or children, unless the woman was some sort of undead. For those who were truly innocent, they would go to heaven and be rewarded, and the guilty would be punished.

Soon the year 1947 rolled around, and on the 15th of August, the United Kingdom had given India and Pakistan their Independence. Unfortunately, the British divided Punjab and Bengal between the two. This sparked a violent inter-religious conflict over the territories. Amar was recruited by the Pakistani government under a false ID to serve in fighting in the conflict. During this conflict, Amar saw thousands die during the conflict, and when tensions over Kashmir lead to the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947, Amar finally decided that he had enough of the violence. Innocent children and women and men were being killed in the religious territorial war, and Amar knew that these conflicts weren't going to solve anything, especially after World War 2. If the First World War didn't prevent the second from happening, what good would this fighting over the territories do? It would just lead to more bloodshed later. So Amar decided to leave Pakistan and India, opting to move to the United States in 1948.


Living in the land of the free

Amar lived in California for a few decades. He discovered that there were vampires and werewolves in the United States as well as in the Middle East, although there were much fewer Assamites. In order to get the new American money, dollars, he decided to continue his living of being an assassin. He was already really good at it, and there were many unscrupulous people in America who wanted their enemies dealt with. He continued giving the excess proceeds of his work to children's organizations and orphanages and such. During the first few years living in the United States, he had to adjust to learning a new language, and it took him a few years to master the language. Because of this language barrier, he had no friends in the United States for a long time.

Now in the present day, he has been hired by a high-ranking Giovanni to assassinate a werewolf that he believed would try to lead an attack on their hideaway in New York City. Amar would be paid handsomely for making sure the werewolf would be taken care of before an attack was made on their hideout.


Life as a college student

To make sure that he blended in with the crowd, Amar decided to pose as a college student at a college in New York. This meant that he would need to take the SAT to send to colleges. He had known about the SAT back in the 90s, so when he showed up the morning of the test he was quite surprised to find that there was a 3rd section to the test. Needless to say he did quite poorly on this portion.

Amar had applied to many colleges, but because of his poor test scores, only one school in New York accepted him, NYU. NYU has one of the largest rates of tuition of any school in America, but Amar was being so well compensated by his client for the hit that he didn't mind the high tuition. He certainly didn't have time to re-take the SAT, at any rate, so he moved in to Hayden Hall the following semester.



To make sure that Amar blended in with the students, he started to act exactly as they did. He wore the same clothes that they did, he bought the same deodorant that they did, and he even watched the same stupid television shows that they did. One thing he did enjoy, however, was going to the same parties they did. This was the highlight of Amar's time spent among the humans of New York.

Amar would tell his roommate, Jerome, that he was working at his night job after class, and because of that he would sleep all day. Amar took only 1 night class, so that he could be enrolled in the school and still live in the dorms. Because the class was at night, he could actually attend his class, too. And after class he would go to parties all night. Sometimes he would seduce women at the parties so he could secretly suck their blood while they do inappropriate things. At other times he would patrol the city, investigating werewolf activity for his assassination.
